Here you will find our policies and procedures relating to admissions and criteria. Admissions for The Quinta Primary are processed through Cheshire East Council.
Admission Policy 2022-2023
To note on point 4 of our Oversubscription Rules - Pupils must attend The Quinta Preschool for a minimum of 2 days per week for 2 terms. This is due to criteria being applied from February for reception places.
Primary Reception/Secondary Class Admissions are now open.

Please note: If your application is received after the published closing detailed above, it will be recorded as ‘late’ and considered after all on-time applications. This could mean that your application may be disadvantaged.
Applications for school places for admission in September 2023 can be made from 1st September 2022.
Apply for a September Primary School Reception Place or a Secondary School Year 7 place through Cheshire East Council if you:
- live in Cheshire East (even if you are applying for a school outside Cheshire East)
- live in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales or outside the UK
If you live in a different English local authority area but want a place in Cheshire East, apply through your home local authority.
For a school place at any other time the school can be contacted directly on 01260 221640 or complete the Initial Contact Form and email back to admin@thequinta.cheshire.sch.uk

Primary Reception Class Admissions
The online application form for September 2023 admissions is now available from the Cheshire East Website.
If you are a parent resident in Cheshire East, with a child born between 1st September 2018 and 31st August 2019, your child will be due to start primary school in September 2023.

Late applications may be disadvantaged.

Parents to note
Alternatively parents/carers (who are resident in Cheshire East) can contact School Admissions on 0300 123 5012 to make applications by telephone.
Families living outside Cheshire East must contact their own Local Authority in the first instance.

‘In Year’ Admissions:
Any parent/carer can apply for a place for their child(ren)at any time, to any school, outside the normal admissions round. Applications should also be made via the Cheshire East Admissions link.
