Welcome to Year 5, Class 9 (2023-24)

We work on Maths, English, Reading and PSHCE everyday but every afternoon is different. You can engage in History, Geography, Spanish, DT, Art, PE, Computing and Science so you are likely to discover a new hobby or pursue a current one.  For subject specific information, please see the curriculum pages on our school website.

In class and around school, we are always READY, RESPECTFUL and SAFE.

We love reading at The Quinta and have many opportunities in the school day to read independently or as a class.  Our current class reading book is 'Ghost'. This book contains short spooky stories. One of favourite stories from this book is called 'The Basement'. This is about a little girl who moves into a new house and discovers something might be lurking in her basement.

We are very lucky to be able to use Seesaw, an app that connects school life with home. Parents and guardians can view what we have been working on at school.
